Paris Fashion Week: Dries Van Noten Spring/Summer 2013
Dries Van Noten’s, Spring 2013 girl is a rebellious juxtaposition of grunge plaids and ultra lady like chic. Layering is key, teaming loose sheer plaid with sequin pencil skirts or pattern clashing long length chiffon tartan skirts.
Shapes are split between loose fluid fitting billowing shirts, lounge jackets updates and light weight chiffon skirts to the more evening wear inspired structured skirts with tailored cinched in waists giving this tomboy a definite elegant feminine touch.
Patterns and prints are key to the bohemian girl look miss-matching traditonal houndstooth, silver embellished blooms to sheer optics garden florals layered over rich heritage plaid prints in shades of bayberry, lavender, light vanilla and violet-blue.
