Surrealistic and quirky themes dominated Mint Designs spring 13 collection at Tokyo Fashion Week. Using tiny cat faces motifs, flying chairs and large paisley prints on angular futuristic silhouettes of cocoon-shaped dresses, tapered feminine trouser suits and ultra voluminous outerwear. Our highlight was the sports inspired fluro green geometric striped casual two piece, from the unconventional t-shirt shape to the cross grain placement pleating it was like being transformed into a another world!
